Hi! I'm Flip and I founded Remarkable Dog Training in Queenstown, New Zealand. Remarkable Dogs was formed by the need to offer affordable, fun, safe professional positive dog training from social & desensitising sessions, puppy training, trick training, behaviour modification to dog agility.
Any dog - any issue .....anxiety, fear, un-wanted behaviours, aggression etc. I can help! I'll get you in the right place using positive methods and a way that'll be fun for you and your dog! Training the wrong way can create habits and issues that are much harder to break than doing it right from the start! Prevention is better than cure.

I've over 20 years of dog training here in Queenstown, New Zealand and internationally in the UK. I've extensive training and certifications. I base my training on scientifically proven methods. I've 3 dogs. Alfie (a Cavoodle I've had since a pup), Jack (my rescued Bearded Collie X) and new addition, Bear (my rescued Bearded Collie X).
Alfie is 8yrs, a cheeky boy, he is in the highest grades in dog agility and jumpers in New Zealand with a few challenges away from being a New Zealand Dog Agility Champion. He has his ADXA GOLD (Agility Dog Excellence Advanced) award and JAB (Jumpers Advanced Bronze award). He also is a Trick Dog Champion (TDCH) and the only Canine Conditioning Fitness Champion (CCF-CH) in New Zealand.
Jack is 6yrs, such a sweet boy, with a few issues we are working through from rehab on his shoulder injury to hyper and fearful reactivity. He is a Trick Dog Champion (TDCH) and has gained a 1st place in Elementary A in dog agility. He has his Level 1, 2 & 3 Canine Conditioning Fitness titles (CCF1, CCF2 & CCF 3). Jack has come along way! So proud of him!
Bear is around 2yrs old, the newest member of the pack, a lovely soul, loves dogs, people and a very bouncy big puppy! He gives great big BEAR hugs. He is working on his basic obedience at the moment and has already gained his Novice (NTD), Intermediate (ITD) & Advanced (ATD) Trick Dog Titles.
I volunteer doing post adoption support and training for dog rescue societies (Dog Rescue Dunedin, Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue and more!). I also teach Pet & Human First Aid.
